Controlled alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks under an inert environment. The wine remains on fine lees for 9 months with periodic stirring, followed by 15 months in new French oak barrels (Bertrange) and a minimum of 12 months in the bottle. The late harvest allows the grapes to naturally dehydrate on the vine, enhancing both their aromatic character and flavor profile. This is a full-bodied dessert wine, rich in aromatic complexity, opening with rose and Turkish delight, followed by notes of ripe pear and apricot, and finishing with the typical herbal undertones of Gewürztraminer. The sugars are perfectly balanced with the acidity, resulting in a complex and pleasantly long-lasting finish. Serving Temperature: 12 - 13°C Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with fruit-based desserts such as baked quinces in syrup, galaktoboureko, revani (plain or with vanilla ice cream), and honey-soaked loukoumades. Also an exquisite match for blue cheeses, foie gras, and game bird terrines. Alcohol Content: 12%
