Yamazaki is Japan’s first whisky distillery, founded in 1923. It is located in the village of Yamazaki, an area of dense bamboo groves at the foot of Mt. Tennozan, just outside Kyoto—the ancient capital of Japan and a stronghold of traditional Japanese culture. The whisky opens with notes of spiced wood, followed by a rich essence of orange marmalade and a lingering honeyed sweetness. It matures in three different types of oak casks: American, Spanish, and Japanese. This diverse aging process gives Suntory Whisky its unique depth and character. **Alcohol Content:** 43%
