An award-winning, handcrafted whiskey, produced in small batches using traditional methods. It matures for over three years in first-fill Bourbon barrels. The blend consists of 3-year-old grain whiskey and 15-year-old malt whiskey. "The first impression on the nose is the aromatic presence of young grain, which is quickly overshadowed by dry malt aromas, accompanied by notes of wood and toasted oak. There is a hint of dust (aged barrels) and a distinct touch of salted caramel, a result of aging in seaside warehouses. On the palate, it has a medium intensity, while the finish is rich with pepper and spices." Tasting notes and observations from the Irish Whiskey Society, Cork Chapter. Alcohol Content: 40%
